Before You Get Started
You need to have your venue booked! This is important, as you will need to compliment your venue. Otherwise you will end up trying to cover every wall, in which case you might as well have booked elsewhere. The venue you select should not only tie into your vision, but act as the foundation for it. Work from the ground up by visiting the contending venues, and taking some color swatches you have been considering. They don’t have to be exact! In fact paint samples will do. Use them to judge which colors do and do not work in the space. Take note of whether they are too dark or light, clash with the present colors, or suit the space perfectly.
