Trending Fall Wedding Color Inspiration
The season of warm knits and cozy flannels, fall might make you think of pumpkins and ghouls. However, no matter how much you love this spooky time of year, it may not be the goal aesthetic for your nuptials. The choice to host a wedding during the fall is a good one, as the color combinations are endless. Whether you prefer a more timeless look or something truly unique, there are plenty of color choices to complement your vision. Keep reading to get inspired by some of the trending wedding color palettes for 2020.
Before You Get Started
You need to have your venue booked! This is important, as you will need to compliment your venue. Otherwise you will end up trying to cover every wall, in which case you might as well have booked elsewhere. The venue you select should not only tie into your vision, but act as the foundation for it. Work from the ground up by visiting the contending venues, and taking some color swatches you have been considering. They don’t have to be exact! In fact paint samples will do. Use them to judge which colors do and do not work in the space. Take note of whether they are too dark or light, clash with the present colors, or suit the space perfectly.
Orange, peacock blue, and gold
A surprising color that has been paired with orange is a beautiful peacock blue. Although vibrant, this combination complements the fall foliage wonderfully. To add a bit of shine you might consider adding in some gold accents.
Raspberry, white, gold, and bright green
If your event will take place at a vineyard consider this wine-inspired palette, featuring a rich raspberry and fresh greens. For something a little brighter, you can toss a crisp white and gold into the mix, for a more luxurious feel.

These wonderful shades will be your new favorite duo when you see them side by side. They contrast beautifully with white and cream, as well as various shades of orange. If you love a slightly whimsical look, then this is the palette for you.
Black and white
A sophisticated palette, black and white are a simple yet luxurious pair. Contrary to popular belief, your event does not have to be a formal affair to pull off this look. Keep things casual or go all out. In either scenario, we recommend you add some greenery for a splash of clean color.
Burgundy, navy and brass
Take the classic burgundy and navy pairing, add in brass notes, and you have a gorgeous industrial color palette. It has a slightly vintage vibe, which can be accented with fall foliage or greenery, or be brightened up with blush florals.

Classic and flattering, burnt orange and green are the pinnacle colors of the season. This combination looks especially beautiful with woodsy brown shades, and bright whites. It can also be paired with deep green foliage for more depth.

This is the perfect combination for our dark and vampy brides who still want a splash of color. These deep berry colors a beautiful and bold choice, but will bring an edgy vibe to your event. To brighten the palette you might add in lavender.
